peace fam!
i’m back. been back since last friday. about to leave next monday for the national poetry slam in west palm beach, florida and i’m hella nervous and excited.
should i write a new piece or two to drop at nationals? or just stick with the ones that have brought me here? i’m starting to doubt myself like crazy.

if you’re here in DC on monday, august 3rd, stop by the flashpoint gallery for an awesome art show with young poets from sol y soul featuring work inspired by the current installation. it is a hip hop art exhibit and it is really good stuff. show starts around 7pm at 916 G street nw, right across from the MLK library in chinatown.
