it has been way too long since my last post. please forgive me. i’ve been busy with the work of life. you know how it is. i’ve been juggling two jobs, several volunteer efforts, and some fantastic new relationships. today is the national celebration of our hero, the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and i was on hand at the national cathedral for a special tribute service. my friends from the Urban Nation H.I.P. H.O.P. Choir rocked it again this year, and as always the house was packed. that acronym stands for Hope, Integrity, Power, Helping Our People. two of the students that i work with at Operation Understanding DC are in the group, and it was very special seeing them perform on such a stage today. i wish you all could have been there.
